Vodka Cocktails for Winters

Vodka is the most popular and trendy spirit. Its neutral flavor makes it a perfect liquor to blend for all tastes. Known to mix well with juices and aerated drinks, it also blends well with other spirits. Versatile in nature, it unifies to make delicious cocktails, mostly enjoyable during winters. Given below are such vodka cocktails.

  • Clove Julep


This is one of the more time consuming Vodka cocktails to make. Take an empty jar, pour in some Vodka and tip off 2 tablespoons of clove. Shake it and let the flavors mix for a few days. When ready, take a short glass and add some mint leaves. Crush them in the glass and add a couple teaspoons of superfine sugar. Crush some ice and splash it with clove Vodka. Top it off with Schweppes Soda Water, sit back, and enjoy the drink.

  • Hökis Sunrise


The Hökis Sunrise is the perfect cocktail for the winters. Take a shaker and pour some Vodka, Gin, Orange juice, and Grenadine. Shake all the ingredients and pour in into a Collins Glass. You will feel the Orange color warming and refreshing you at the same time. Sip this cocktail by the poolside to enjoy it to the fullest.

  • Basil Martini


Known to be one of the most lip-smacking concoctions, the Basil Martini is the perfect winter drink. Muddle some basil and pour sweet syrup and lime juice followed by Vodka in a cocktail shaker; top it off with ice. Shake till each ingredient does not blend perfectly with the others and the ice isn’t in shards. Strain and then transfer this frothy libation into a glass and relish the flavor.

  • Ginger – Champaign Punch


One of the more spicy cocktails, amalgamate sugar, corn syrup, water, and ginger in a saucepan. Boil it and wait till the heat reduces. Then mix it with Vodka and stir until it cools down. Refrigerate for 4 hours and strain the mixture into a large bowl. Slowly pour Champaign and mix gently. Transfer the drink into Champaign glasses and enjoy this fizzy blue concoction.
